I’m really pleased to announce the publication of Atticus Drake’s latest adventure. Called A Bite in the Big Apple, it sees Atticus, a mild-mannered Englishman with a habit of getting mixed up in tricky situations in exotic places, in New York.

 Its not long since his supposedly restful yachting holiday in the Canary Islands, turned into a sinister missing persons enquiry, in Funeral of the Sardine, and before that, his promised romantic sojourn in Venice turned out to be a little less than serene, in Going Going Gondola.  This one combines Art, Romance, Yellow Cabs and Margaritas as Atticus is called on to save the day when his cousin Jasper is missing in action on the eve of his Gallery’s biggest exhibition.

 If you’re after something a little more soulful, have a look at Mid-Atlantic, a stand-alone easy read featuring Jo West, an ordinary woman with a husband, a grown-up child and a comfortable life, who decides to get up and leave it all behind. I don’t think I’m the only person who’s thought about it from time to time…
